Chinese Culture and History
China is one of the oldest civilisation sin the world. For over 4000 years China was ruled by heriditary monarchs or dynastiesThis time produced a unique culture of arts and customs. This rich history was curtailed in 1911 with the rise of the comunists who eventually deposed the last emporer.
The communists tried to eradicate many traditions of Chinese culture during the cutural revolutoion and cut the country off from the rest of the world.
