Where is Fraser Island?Fraser Island is the largest sand Island in the world and is off the North east coast of Australia. The aboriginees call it K'gari or "paradise". The island is speckled with turquoise freash water lakes rimmed with crysal white sand. There 350 species of bird including bee-eaters, kingfishers,pelicans and the worlds smallest penguin,sea eagles a ground loving parrot. The best way to see the island is to walk the 12km track between Lake McKenzie through forests and sandunes to the islands deepest lake,Lake Wabby.
