Inca Trail and Macchu Piccu
Trekking througth the Andes to the last Inca stronghold of Macchu Piccu is a spectacular and challenging experience. The trail is 42km long and takes 4 days.The route is guided and accomodation is camping ,it can be cold so wrap up warm. Guides may offer you cacao leaves to chew too help with the altitude. An organised trip will already have arranded the permits,camping and porters. The trek is usually timed to arrive at Macchu Picchu for for early in the mornig before the crowds arrive. Return to Cuzco by train.
Climb a Peak
Climbing a peak bigger than a British mountain is a big challenge. There are many variables to take into consideration some you can control and some you can't. Altitude,weather,gradient,underfoot conditions and your physiology cannot be controlled. Fitness,equipment,preperation and determination are up to you.Some Popular Peaks to summit are

With volcanoes,snowy mounatains,glaciers,lush forests and beautiful beaches this is our own favourite trip of a lifetime. Hiring a camper van,camping,hostelling or "B and B" ing travelling around independently is a real adventure. Tramping (hiking) the Milford Track or the Tangiro crossing are spectacular and challenging routes. Other highlights include Mt Cook ,Milford Sound, Queenstown, Franz Joseph Glacier, Ruapehu volcano, Tarawera volcano and White Island.
